Austin-area Oppos! It has come time to replace the front control arms on my shit-box daily driver, and I’m in need of a good floor jack at the very least, a decently flat place to use said jack, and, optimally, a helping hand with a few hours to spare tomorrow.

I know it’s short notice, but I’m hoping to just knock this out tomorrow so I can be ready to roll Monday morning. I can certainly do it myself, but it’d go faster with some help.

Barring that, would anyone at least be willing to lend me a floor jack?

I don’t have a floor jack. And I’m in Florida. And I don’t drink. Oh and I’m not really mechanical savvy.

Make sure you have a good ratchet stap as when I have swapped axles the don’t go back like legos. Some force is usually needed.

Would love to help except for a few minor issues:

-no floor jack

-I’m in Canada and thus, at least 24 hours away

-I know nothing about replacing control arms on those.

If I show up with a hammer, a bottle of bbq sauce and a stick, will that help?
